TASI falls 0.7% to below 11,300, records lowest close in 2 months
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 0.7%, or 80 points, to 11,272 points today, Aug. 7, recording the lowest close in nearly two months.
Total turnover reached about SAR 6.4 billion.
The index is down for the eighth consecutive session, with losses reaching more than 600 points.
Market Index
Arabian Cement and Al Akaria fell 3% to SAR 37 and SAR12.96, respectively, after announcing Q2 2023 financial results.
Arabian Drilling, Chemanol, solutions, Seera, Alujain, Zain KSA, Jabal Omar, and Yanbu Cement declined between 3% and 5%.
DWF and Etihad Atheeb Telecom went limit down to close at SAR135.20 and SAR74.60, respectively.

On the other hand, Saudi Aramco increased 1% to SAR 32.6, with about 28 million shares traded - the highest since December 2022. The total value exceeded SAR 900 million.
Before the market opened, the oil major announced Q2 2023 results and payment of SAR 0.46 per share for three-month period, including base and performance-linked dividends.
Al-Etihad Insurance went almost limit up to close at SAR 18.94.
