Dallah Healthcare Co. obtained the approval of the Ministry of Health on April 21 to ramp up the capacity of Dallah Namar Hospital by 150 beds, bringing up its total capacity to 300 beds.

Dallah sought to raise operational capacity in response to an increase in the percentage of bed occupancy rates, the healthcare provider said in a statement to Tadawul.

The company expects the doubled operational capacity will lead to a gradual rise in its revenue; thus, increasing profits and profit margins. Dallah will study ramping up the operational capacity to a maximum of 400 beds going forward, when necessary.

In March 2018, the healthcare services provider began operations in the first phase of Riyadh-based Dallah Namar Hospital. The hospital started receiving patients in April 2018, Argaam earlier reported.
