Jarir Marketing starts e-voting on EGM on May 7

Jarir Marketing Co. will start on May 7 the electronic voting on the agenda items of its extraordinary general assembly meeting (EGM) that will be held on May 10, according to a bourse filing.

Voting will continue until the day of the EGM.

The step follows the Capital Market Authority’s (CMA) directives enabling shareholders to participate and vote on related meeting agenda through Tadawulaty system, in line with the government’s efforts to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Shareholders will vote on authorizing the board of directors to distribute interim dividends on a biannual or quarterly basis for FY 2022, during the EGM, Argaam reported.
