10 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Thursday.

 

1) Saudi Electricity Co. (SEC) widened its net loss to SAR 372 million (SAR 0.09 loss per share) in Q1 2022 after deducting the SAR 1.889 billion payment of Mudaraba coupon, from SAR 200 million (SAR 0.05 loss per share) in the year-ago period.

 

2ACWA Power reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 151.9 million for Q1 2022, up 9% year-on-year (YoY).

 

3) Saudi Ground Services Co.’s (SGS) net loss after Zakat and tax widened to SAR 19 million in Q1 2022, against SAR 16.7 million a year earlier.

 

4Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co. (AWPT) reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 25.3 million for Q1 2022, a 6% decline YoY.

 

5) Saudi Research and Media Group (SRMG) reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 112.5 million for the first quarter of 2022, a rise of 23% YoY.

 

6) Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development Co. reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 221 million for Q1 2022, compared to SAR 28.5 million in the year-ago period.

 

7Dallah Healthcare Co. reported a net profit excluding minority interest of SAR 82.8 million for Q1 2022, a rise of 59% from SAR 52.2 million in Q1 2021.

 

8) Emaar The Economic City (Emaar EC) narrowed net losses after Zakat and tax by 17.7% to SAR 160 million in Q1 2022, from SAR 194 million in the year-earlier period.

 

9) Arabian Contracting Services Co. posted a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 64.9 million for Q1 2022, more than double from SAR 29.6 million a year earlier.

 

10) Brent crude rose 1.36% to reach $110.59 per barrel. WTI crude gained 0.83% to reach $110.50/bbl.
