Saudi Company for Hardware (SACO) announced the start of implementing a three-year (2023-2025) strategic transformation plan to improve its results and strengthen its position based on the company's leading position in the Saudi retail market.
In a statement to Tadawul, the company highlighted the strategy’s key pillars.
The strategy focuses on restructuring the current exhibitions in terms of their number, spread and locations, in addition to opening new, more efficient branches.
New departments, products and services compatible with the customers' aspirations will be added to increase the company's income and profitability. Moreover, the company will enhance e-commerce channels and launch several partnerships to promote this field.
The strategic plan further stipulates for an effective management of items, prices and offers to enhance the company's position in the market. It includes establishing further partnerships and signing contracts with efficient suppliers.
The strategy is highly concerned with developing exhibitions, customer service, and loyalty programs to enhance the customers’ trust, the statement said.
Furthermore, it calls for effective inventory management and rationalization of expenditures.
Additionally, the strategy aims at enhancing the company’s human resources with highly qualified leaders at the headquarters and branches, and introducing incentive programs to raise the personnel performance and productivity, were also highlighted in the three-year transformation plan.
The plan is expected to reflect on the company's financials starting from Q4 2023, the statement added.
