BinDawood Holding gets GAC compliance certificate

BinDawood Holding Co. received a certificate of completion from the General Authority for Competition (GAC) for its compliance program. It is one of the programs provided by GAC to the Saudi market institutions. Its certification is based on GAC’s assessment based on certain criteria set by the authority.

The program includes, for example, training employees and raising their awareness of the competition law and its regulations, as well as the mandate of a compliance officer to implement the competition law and a mechanism to report any suspected violations of this law, BinDawood Holding said in a statement to Tadawul.

The company reiterated its keenness on implementing the highest compliance standards with laws, regulations, and instructions, as part of the attention paid by its board and executive management to all topics related to compliance with laws and regulations and its support for any programs, plans, or procedures that ensure full compliance.

The certificate supports and validates the tangible steps that the company is taking in this regard. BinDawood Holding is one of the first companies to receive this certificate from GAC, the statement added.
