BinDawood Holding Co. announced receiving honorary shield from the General Authority for Competition (GAC) for being one of first the companies to obtain a compliance certificate in the Kingdom.
The step came during the launch ceremony of the electronic compliance portal organized by GAC, on Dec. 5, in Riyadh, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.
This certificate is one of the initiatives of the competition authority to support the companies’ compliance with the Competition Law and its implementing regulations.
BinDawood Holding previously obtained a certificate of compliance from GAC on June 4, 2023.
The Saudi-listed firm assured its continuous care to implement the highest compliance standards to the laws, regulations and instructions.
The honor comes based on the company's attention, represented by its board of directors and its executive management, to all the topics related to the compliance to the laws and regulations and its support to any programs, plans or procedures to ensure full compliance. The honor by the GAC comes to support and validate the advanced steps that the company is taking in this regard, statement added.
