CST seeks feedback on markets designation, dominance regulations

The Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) invited the public to submit their views on the regulations for designation of markets and dominance in telecommunications sector and the related report by Nov. 20, through its website.

In a statement today, Sept. 25, the commission stated that this comes within the framework of the periodic report review, keeping pace with changes in the telecommunications services markets.

The CST will thoroughly evaluate its current methodology to designate dominant service providers in the telecom markets and update the regulatory framework for the designation of markets and dominance issued in 2010.
