Tawuniya renews health insurance contract with stc for 1 year

The Company for Cooperative Insurance (Tawuniya) renewed today, Sept. 25, the contract with stc to provide health insurance services to the latter’s employees and their families and parents for one year starting Oct. 5, 2024, the insurer said in a statement to Tadawul.

The contract’s value exceeds 5% of Tawuniya’s gross revenues, based on the 2023 audited financials. The insurer expects a positive impact on its 2024 gross written premiums (GWPs).

 

There are no related parties to the deal, Tawuniya said, adding that the contract expected to be signed on Oct. 1.

 

Tawuniya's 2023 insurance revenues reached approximately SAR 15.3 billion, according to Argaam's data.
