Jarir’s CEO expects the company’s 4th Q profit to climb 15 percent

Jarir Bookstore Co’s 4th quarter profit is expected to increase 15 percent compared to the 2nd profit  on sales of Iphone 6 and opening of new stores, Mohamed Akeel, the company’s CEO, told CNBC Arabiya in a phone interview.

The company plans to open new branches in Kuwait and Abu Dhabi in the 1st and 2nd quarters next year.

Jarir wants to expand more in Kuwait, he said. Jarir’s 3rd quarter profit climbed 8 percent to SAR 237.4 million in the 3rd quarter, according to Argaam.
