Saudi Marketing Co. (SAMCO), one of the kingdom’s largest food importers and retailers, plans to open eight new Farm superstores, two Farm mini markets, and one Adventure World this year, according to the company’s board report.
SAMCO seeks to maintain its robust annual growth rates in its key investments— namely, Farm superstores and Adventure World.
Last fiscal year, the company generated SAR 104.5 million net earnings, jumping 10 percent year-on-year. Revenues also increased 7 percent year-on-year to SAR 1.741 billion.
The bourse-listed company will also open two new Farm branches in Riyadh during the first half of this year 2015, as shown in the below.
