Hospitality group Millennium & Copthorne Hotels, Middle East and Africa said it has signed a deal with Madinah-based real estate developer, Taiba Holding Company, over four hotels in Saudi Arabia as part of its expansion plan in the kingdom.
In a statement, the hotel operator said the expansion will begin with the reflagging of two existing operations in Madinah— the Millennium Taiba Hotel Madinah and Millennium Al Aqeeq Hotel—to serve the religious tourism market.
Another property, the Grand Millennium Hotel Madinah, is set to open in 2018 and will be situated on King Faisal Road, at a walking distance from Masjid Al Haram.
The group also plans to introduce the Biltmore brand to Riyadh in 2018.
Apart from its operations in the holy city of Madinah, Taiba owns and operates several residential compounds and hotels in cities across the kingdom.
