Mobily sees 270% growth in 4G transferred data in Ramadan

Etihad Etisalat Co. (Mobily) recorded a 270 percent growth year-on-year in transferred data over its 4G network during Ramadan.

The telco said in a statement that it attributed the sharp rise to its “unique” network planning and high capacity rates for 4G, which allows it to fulfill subscriber needs.

The kingdom’s second-largest telecom operator has also doubled its 3G network coverage rate and boosted its capacity by using U900 technology in major cities.
