Modon, Alshaya ink deals to build food factories worth SAR 200 mln

Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (Modon) has signed deals with Alshaya Group to build two food factories with investments over SAR 200 million, Modon said on its Twitter account yesterday.

 

The two factories, which will be located in Sadir City for Industry and Business, and Jeddah 1st Industrial City, are expected to be completed in 2022.

 

The project will be built over 34,000 square meters with a capacity of 10,000 tons and over 300 food products, Modon said, adding that the project will generate 600 jobs for Saudis.
