Ataa says educational services available online, employees to start working remotely

Ataa Educational Co. announced in a bourse statement the continuity of educational services through its online platform, after the Kingdom's temporary shutdown of schools in line with the precautionary measures to combat COVID-19 outbreak.

 

Students' daily traffic stood at 95% while the daily usage of teachers reached 100%, the company said in a bourse filing.

 

The company also ordered its employees to start working remotely in line with the 24-hour curfew in Riyadh; the company's main headquarters.

 

The educational services provider said it cannot assess whether it is eligible for the government's support packages or not, adding that the relevant financial impact of the schools temporary closure cannot be determined at present.

 

The related updates will be revealed in due course, the statement added.
