Amiantit says revenue could be hit by COVID-19 measures

Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. said that the government’s precautionary measures to contain the coronavirus outbreak will have an impact on its revenue, subsidiaries and future financial results, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

It is currently difficult to assess the financial impact of these measures, Amiantit noted, adding that its facilities are committed to operate in line with future developments.

Amiantit added that in light of the private sector support packages, the company is working closely with relevant authorities to identify the support mechanism and feasibility.
