Alujain says NATPET to reissue FY2019 financials, additional disclosures

Alujain Holding said it will disclose financial statements for FY2019 upon receiving National Petrochemical Industrial Co.'s (NATPET) amended audited financial results for the same FY, the company said in a bourse filing.

 

Alujain said it received a letter from NATPET indicating that the latter's auditor cancelled its auditor report, dated March 24, 2020, as well as FY2019 financial statements, without citing reasons.

 

NATPET added that the auditor's report as well as the amended audited financial statements will be reissued soon together with other additional disclosures.

 

A trading halt will be placed on Alujain Holding shares as of today, Thursday, pending FY2019 financials' disclosure.

 

Earlier this month, Alujain said it was unable to disclose its financial results for fiscal year 2019 as expected in its previous announcement on March 26.

 

The company cited that its external auditor has not yet received the group audit instructions relevant to NATPET financial statements.
