Al Rajhi Takaful says COVID-19 measures could affect GWPs

Al Rajhi Company for Cooperative Insurance (Al Rajhi Takaful) announced that sales of insurance policies may be impacted by the COVID-19 precautionary measures, which, in turn, could affect the gross written premiums (GWPs).

 

The company added in a bourse statement that it is difficult to determine the full financial impact at present, and will disclose any further developments in due course.

 

The insurer is currently serving its clients through various online channels, the statement added.
