The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) suspends today, Sept. 16, 2020, trading on National Building and Marketing Co. shares for one day.

The trading halt is due to the company’s non-compliance with announcing financial statements for Q1 and Q2 2020 within the regulatory period.

The suspension will be lifted on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020, and the company will be required to announce the financial statements before the end of Oct. 15.

In case of non-compliance, trading will be suspended again from Oct. 18 until the financial statements are published.

The company announced on Tuesday that it was unable to publish financial statements for Q1 and Q2 2020 within the specified period, since the ordinary general meeting was not convened on time to appoint an external auditor.
