Ash-Sharqiyah gets initial regulatory approval on operational projects

Ash-Sharqiyah Development Co. started technical studies to make the optimum use of the agriculture land grant, in line with the strategic and operational plan approved by the board of directors, the Kingdom’s agricultural development strategy and in the light of Saudi Vision 2030, according to a bourse statement.

 

Ash-Sharqiyah obtained the initial approval of the the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture on the following:

 

1- Hydroponics for vegetable production (hydroponic)

 

2- Hydroponics for vegetable production and Aquaponics

 

3- Providing marketing services on behalf of others

 

4- Breeding and producing broiler mothers and operating their hatcheries

 

5- Breeding poultry

 

6- Egg production

 

7- Meat production from poultry, rabbits and birds.

 

The company’s board of directors will appoint specialized advisors for the available investment opportunities as well as financing options.

 

In February, the company received a decision by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture confirming the ownership of 72.17 million square meters of agriculture land grant, Argaam reported.
