Shaker appoints Mohammad Abunayyan as CEO

Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker Co.’s (Shaker) board of directors today, May 23, 2021, appointed Mohammad Ibrahim Abunayyan as the chief executive officer (CEO), effective May 24, the company said in a bourse filing. 

 

Accordingly, Abunayyan’s contract for acting CEO was terminated.

 

The company’s board approved the appointment of Abunayyan as acting CEO, as of Nov. 19, 2020, based on the recommendation of the nomination & remuneration committee, according to data compiled by Argaam.

 

Abunayyan has been working as a chief strategy and transformation officer at Shaker Group since 2017. Prior to this, Abunayyan held the position of director of quality management at LG factory. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Al Yamamah University.
