Astra appoints new audit committee member

Astra Industrial Group’s board of directors approved the appointment of Ibrahim Zaid Al-Gomllas as the new audit committee member, the company said in a bourse statement.

He replaced former audit committee member, Saleh Al Fadhel, who submitted his resignation on Aug. 27, citing new work commitment.

Al-Gomllas has over 30 years of professional experience in several reputed banking institutions in Saudi Arabia. He has held various administrative and financial positions in the field of internal audit across several sectors.

The appointment will be presented at the first general assembly meeting for approval.
