Aslak shareholders elect board members; approve 2021 board, audit reports

United Wire Factories Co.’s (Aslak) shareholders approved the board and auditor’s reports, as well as financial statements for 2021, during the ordinary general meeting (OGM) held on March 1, according to a bourse statement.

 

They also ratified the appointment of Baker Tilly as an external auditor to review and audit financials for Q2, Q3, Q4 2022, and Q1 2023.

 

Shareholders discharged board members from liability for 2021, and approved disbursing SAR 900,000 as board remuneration for the same year.

 

They approved amending Article 8 - Paragraph 1b - of the board remuneration policy, while authorizing the board to distribute interim dividends on a semi-annual or quarterly basis for 2022.

 

They approved disbursing SAR 175,000 as remunerations for the audit committee members for 2021, as well as forming the audit committee for the three-year session that will begin on April 10, 2022.

 

Additionally, shareholders ratified electing board members for the three-year term that will begin on April 10.
