SAICO shareholders to elect new board members on June 16

Shareholders of Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance Co. (SAICO) are set to vote on electing board members for the upcoming three-year term starting on June 25, 2022, during the ordinary general assembly meeting (OGM) scheduled for June 15.

 

They will also elect external auditors to audit the company’s financial statements for Q2, Q3, Q4 2022 as well as Q1 2023, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

Other items on the agenda including the vote on the contracts and transactions concluded between SAICO and ACE Insurance Brokers Ltd., where Chairman Prince Ahmed bin Khalid Al-Saud owns an indirect stake of 11.13%.

 

SAICO shareholders will also vote on the contracts and transactions concluded between the company and Bahrain’s Saudi Arabian Insurance Co. in which Chairman Prince Ahmed bin Khalid and George Medawar have indirect interest.

 

The e-voting process will start from June 11 via Tadawulaty services.
