SAIC board receives resignations of 2 members

Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (SAIC) announced that it received the resignations of board members Yazeed Al Shathry and Bader Al Shathry on June 4 before the first meeting of the board of directors, according to a bourse statement. 

 

Thus, both members preferred to wait until the appointment of Chairman and Vice Chairman, as well as formation of the committees. 

 

The board decided to study the requests and authorized the nominations and remuneration committee to take the necessary action in this regard.

 

The company will announce any relevant developments in due course, the statement said.

 

On May 31, shareholders elected the following board members for the upcoming three-year term, Abdullah Alsanea, Abdullah Al-Humaidhi, Abdulrahman Al-Obaid, Abdullah Al-Jareesh, Musa Al-Ruwaili, Yazeed Al Shathri, and Bader Al Shathri, according to data available with Argaam.

 

On June 2, the Tadawul-listed firm announced that the board of directors approved the resignation of Abdullah Alsanea from his position as an independent board member due to personal reasons.
