Al Moammar Information Systems Co. (MIS) and Mobile Telecommunication Company Saudi Arabia (Zain KSA) signed, on Feb. 7, a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU).

The 12-month MoU will be renewed based on the two parties’ agreement, MIS said in a statement on Tadawul.

The MoU aims to provide a general framework to facilitate, enhance, and sustain cooperation between the two companies. It will establish a strategic partnership based on the principles of reciprocity and integration in their expertise in enabling comprehensive solutions for information and communication technology (ICT).

As per MoU, MIS and Zain KSA will explore potential opportunities for cooperation through the design, launch, and offering of certain products, services and/or solutions. Furthermore, the companies will bring joint offers to Zain KSA’s existing and potential customers of large and medium enterprises and government customers in the region.

The MoU’s final financial impact cannot be determined, MIS noted, indicating it will disclose developments in this regard later.
