Ataa Educational Co. obtained on Oct. 11 the approval of the General Authority for Competition (GAC) to fully acquire Al-Alson International Co. (AIS), according to a Tadawul statement.
The relevant financial impact is expected to appear in the financial results for the fiscal year ending on July 31, 2023.
In July, Ataa stated that its subsidiary, Arabian Education and Training Group (AETG), signed an agreement to acquire the entire shares of Al-Alson International School (AIS) for SAR 38.3 million, Argaam earlier reported.
AETG was holding a 62.8% stake before this acquisition.
