UCA receives notice of fire incident in United Ink factory

United Cooperative Assurance Co. (UCA) received, on May 2, a notice of a fire incident in the factory owned by United Ink Production Co. Ltd. located in the industrial area of Jeddah City.

 

The company has immediately appointed a loss adjustor licensed by the Insurance Authority (IA) to assess the damage resulting from the fire, according to a statement to Tadawul.

 

UCA further clarified that the damaged property has been reinsured with local and international reinsurance companies.

 

The claim is expected to have a limited financial impact on UCA, and the extent of the damage will be determined after the necessary inspections and investigations are completed, the statement added.

 

UCA said that it will immediately announce any material developments upon their occurrence.
