City Cement won’t be able to get fuel for new production lines

City  Cement Co said the Ministry of Petroleum  and Mineral Resources had refused to supply fuel for the new production line that was supposed to start its experimental operation on Dec 10, 2014.

 

The company is looking for investment in alternative fuel as well as increasing efficiency of fuel consumption.

 

On Sept 7, the company said its 5,500 -tons-a day  cement production line would start experimental operations on Dec 10, according to Argaam. 

  

In June 2012, the company and Sinoma International Engineering Company agreed to build  a SAR 971 million cement factory with an annual capacity of 1.9 million  cement.
