Saudi Electricity signs SAR 2.6bn contracts for supplying electricity to public transportation

Saudi Electricity Company signed today 7 contracts with a total amount of SAR 2565.2m for building cables and power stations to provide Riyadh Metro Project with electricity.

Eng. Saleh Al-S’haibany, an official at Saudi Electricity said that the first two contracts are for building North Western and South Western power stations while the third and fourth are for establishing the North Eastern and South Eastern power stations; According to The Saudi Press Agency.

He added that the other three contacts include building ground cables to operate Riyadh Metro Project within 25 months from the contracts date.
