Nama Chemicals resumes production after repairs

08/03/2015 Argaam
Nama Chemicals said on Sunday that it completed maintenance activities at its allyl alcohol, epoxy, and epichlorohydrin plants, in addition to fixing a polypropylene leak in one of its pipelines.

All relevant precautions were taken during the period in which production was down, the company said in a statement to Saudi Arabia’s bourse.

The listed company said it needs more time to determine the financial impact, which will be reflected in the financial statements of the first quarter of this year.

According to data compiled by Argaam, Nama recently said it would halt operations at some of its production units for 15 days starting Feb. 6 for scheduled maintenance.
