SSPC expects SAR 3 mln impact from maintenance of medium-sized pipe unit

Saudi Steel Pipe Co. (SSPC) expects a drop of SAR 3 million in fourth quarter profit due to planned maintenance at its medium-sized pipe unit.

 

The plant will halt production starting Sept. 27 until Nov. 1, 2015. The unit’s equipment will be upgraded to boost production capacity, SSPC added. 

 

On Sunday, the company said financial impact would reflect on fourth quarter results.
