Umm Al-Qura begins trial run of production line

Umm Al-Qura Cement has begun a trial run of its new Portland cement production line, the company said in a statement to Tadawul on Sunday.

 

Trial operations will last for one month, and the related financial impact will be reflected on the company’s earnings after sales are launched.

 

However, the cement producer added that it would be difficult to measure the financial impact at this stage due to supply and demand factors.
