National Gypsum Company (NGC) has renewed the license of its quarries from the Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources, the firm said in a statement to Tadawul.

The license of the Riyadh quarry was renewed for 30 years starting Feb. 22, 2016, while that of the Yanbu quarry was renewed for the same period as of February 24, 2011.

The license of Dammam quarry was renewed for 20 years starting from Dec. 2, 2013, the statement said.

The company extracts the raw material for producing gypsum products from these quarries, so the renewals are key for business performance and achieving production goals, it added.
