SARCO’s case against Saudi Aramco postponed to July 11

A Saudi court today postponed the lawsuit filed by Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SARCO) against Saudi Aramco to July 7, 2018, SARCO said in a statement to Tadawul.

Aramco’s lawyer submitted a four-page memorandum to the court, in response to SARCO’s previous memo. However, Aramco’s memo did not include answers on required issues, so the company has requested more time to properly respond, the statement said.

In November 2016, SARCO filed a petition to King Salman asking Aramco to pay SAR 137.1 million, in order to settle a dispute dating back to 2011.
