Drake & Scull subsidiary bags AED 175 mln deal in Dubai

Drake & Scull International PJSC’s (DSI) general contracting subsidiary Gulf Technical Construction Company (GTCC) has been awarded an AED 175 million contract by Orion Real Estate Development, the company said in a bourse statement on Monday.

 

GTCC has been commissioned for construction, civil engineering, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) work on the West Bay residential tower in Dubai’s Business Bay district.

 

The 34-story tower, consisting of 252 residential apartments, is scheduled for completion in 33 months.

 

“We are pleased to pick up momentum in our project awards in the UAE market, and we are currently accelerating our bidding activities to secure additional work primarily in the MEP sector,” DSI board member Mohammad Atatreh said in the statement.
