The average monthly salary for Saudi Arabian citizens stood at SAR 9,939 in Q4 2017, compared to SAR 3,674 for expatriates, data issued by the General Authority for Statistics showed.

 

Average monthly salaries of Saudi nationals and expatriates declined 1 percent each, when compared to Q3 2017.

 

Average income for Saudi males reached SAR 10,160, while that of Saudi female employees hit SAR 8,995.

 

The average pay for all employees across the Kingdom reached SAR 6,093 in the same period.

 

By sector, the average monthly income for Saudi public servants came in at SAR 10,735. Expats working in the public sector received average monthly pay of SAR 8,827.

 

Saudis earned monthly salaries of SAR 7,570 in average in the private sector, compared to SAR 3,812 for expats.
