Sahara International Petrochemical Co. (Sipchem) announced the safe completion of the scheduled periodic maintenance work at its 75% subsidiary, the International Polymers Co. (IPC) plant.
The IPC plant started operation today, Oct. 21, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.
The periodic maintenance work, which was completed according to scheduled, will positively impact the plant’s efficiency, raise reliability, and reduce costs in line with its future operational plans.
This scheduled shutdown is expected to show on Q4 2024 financials, Sipchem stated, confirming that all necessary precautions were taken to avoid any negative impact on its customers.
According to data available on Argaam, Sipchem recently announced its intention to carry out a scheduled shutdown of the IPC plant in line with the standards followed for the necessary periodic and preventive maintenance.
The International Polymers Co. (IPC) is a limited liability company (LLC) in Jubail Industrial City. It was established in 2009. The company’s current capital amounted to SAR 703.2 million. IPC’s main activity focuses on the production of polyvinyl acetate, polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene wax, low-density polyethylene, and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers.
