Saudi Arabia seeks to attract building technology suppliers, says BTSI

Saudi Arabia is seeking to attract foreign suppliers of building technology to stimulate the use of modern methods of construction, Muhab Benten, CEO of the Building Technology Stimulus Initiative, said in a statement.

 

The move aims to achieve the Kingdom’s goal of building 340,000 housing units by 2023.

 

The agency, which taking part in the Big 5 exhibition, is in the final stages of developing a platform that will allow Saudi citizens to “self-service” their new way of building home, he revealed.

 

BTSI was established back in 2018 as part of the private sector stimulus plan, with the aim to stimulate the adoption of modern methods of construction.
