Salama Cooperative Insurance Co. received on June 22 a letter from the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) canceling the no objection on the nomination of three board members, the insurer said in a bourse statement on Tuesday.
The members are Loai Hamza Al Basrawi, Hussain Hassan Beyaree and Ahmed A. Al-Shetifi.
The decision is based on the Cooperative Insurance Companies Control Law and Corporate Governance Regulation, the statement added.
The decision s effective from June 22, 2020.
