Oil giant Saudi Aramco announced a technical failure in one of the pumps at the petroleum derivatives distribution station in Jazan region.
The technical issue led to a shortage of some petroleum products, in a number of fuel stations across the region, according to the company statement.
The Ministry of Energy is working with Saudi Aramco, in coordination with other relevant authorities, to ensure that the demand for petroleum products in Jazan region is met, based on the direction of the Minister of Energy, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.
Saudi Aramco confirmed that its technical team is working round the clock to fix the technical failure as quickly as possible, and to provide the petroleum products that Jazan region needs without interruption.
The supply of petroleum products has gradually returned, the company asserted.
