Saudi Electricity names Khaled Al-Gnoon as CEO

Saudi Electricity Co.'s (SEC) board of directors approved today, June 19, the appointment of Khaled bin Hamad Al-Gnoon as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective from June 20. 
   

In June 2021, the company's board appointed Al-Gnoon as Acting CEO, in place of Fahad Al-Sudairi who resigned due to personal reasons.
 

Al-Gnoon has over three decades of experience in multiple positions at SEC and is a member of the boards of directors of local bodies and committees. He holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
