Tanmiah Food subsidiary signs Popeyes franchise pact for Kuwait, Bahrain

Tanmiah Food Co. announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Tanmiah Restaurants for Fast Food Co., signed exclusive development agreements with PLK Europe GmbH to establish and operate Popeyes restaurants in Kuwait and Bahrain.

 

These agreements will enable Tanmiah Restaurants for Fast Food Co. to continue its expansion plans for Popeyes in the region, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

The number of Popeyes stores in the Kingdom reached 36 by the end of September 2023, the statement indicated.

 

According to data available on Argaam, Tanmiah Food’s subsidiary, Gulf Brand Fast Food Co., signed a master franchise and development agreement with Popeyes, one of the world's largest fast-food restaurants, in December 2021.
