Education Minister: Over 580 projects built, rehabilitated at more than SAR 2B in 2024

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Education Yousef Al-Benyan said that the Kingdom spent over SAR 2 billion in 2024 on building and rehabilitating more than 580 projects.

 

At the Budget Forum 2025, he added that 166 projects will to be implemented in 2025 at a cost exceeding SAR 4 billion.

 

He indicated that three cities were added as educational cities bringing the total to five educational cities within the UNESCO education system during 2024, while 10,000 students obtained scholarships to learn at the world’s best 200 universities.

 

The ministry will continue its initiatives in 2025 consonantly, while strengthening these initiatives to improve educational outcomes, Al-Benyan added.
