Saudi Arabia plans to reduce expat physicians by 5% per year

The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties is seeking to reduce the number of expatriate physicians by 5.27 percent a year over the next nine years, Al Watan newspaper reported.

 

The commission also plans to nationalize the jobs of 21,800 dentists by 2027, as per government instructions to resolve the situation of un-employed Saudi dentists.
