Saudia’s passengers rise 1% in H1 2019

Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) reported a 1 percent rise year-on-year (YoY) in total number of passengers to SAR 17 million in H1 2019.

 

The national carrier also recorded a 2 percent increase YoY in the number of domestic and international flights to 107.600.

 

International guests totaled 8.7 million by the end of the same period, a rise of 2 percent YoY.

 

The airline currently targets to fly 1.2 million pilgrims during Hajj season.

 

It will launch over 77,000 domestic and international flights with 16.8 million seats – including 7.74 million seats for more than 444,000 domestic flights.
