Major shareholders raised their stakes in 27 Tadawul-listed companies, with ten new shareholders joining the list in the first nine months of 2019, a recent study conducted by Argaam showed.
Tadawul's major shareholders own 5 percent or more of any listed company.

A total of 44 equity reductions were recorded in the same period. Meanwhile, 39 shareholders exited major owners’ lists in the same period, mainly in the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) and the Public Pension Agency (PPA).
During the nine-month period, GOSI has transferred some of its stakes in several Tadawul-listed companies to Hassana Investment Co. (HIC). The PPA has also transferred some holdings from its investment portfolio to its investment arm Al Ra’idah Investment Co.
