Point-of-sale (POS) transactions in Saudi Arabia grew by 30% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 25.12 billion in October 2019, according to recent data from the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA).
Data showed that a total of 164.2 million transactions were processed, up 71% YoY, through nearly 421,900 points-of-sales in shopping malls, retail stores, and pharmacies.
