Herfy Food Services Co. said the Kingdom's precautionary measures to curb COVID-19 will impact its restaurants business, the company said in a bourse statement.

The company recently announced the temporary closure of its restaurants inside the shopping malls, and suspended the dining-in activities in restaurants across the Kingdom, allowing only take-out, food delivery and drive-thru services.

Herfy said it cannot define whether the company is eligible for the government's support packages provided to the private sector.

The company is also unable to assess the financial impact of the precautionary measures at present and any further developments will be announced in due course.
