Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Thursday.

 

1) Savola Group opened one Panda supermarket store in Q2 2020, after three years of store closures, bringing the total number to 146.

 

2) Al-Etihad Cooperative Insurance Co. reported net profit before Zakat of SAR 50.8 million for the first half of 2020, an increase of 54% year-on-year (YoY).

 

3) United Cooperative Assurance Co. turned to a net loss before Zakat of SAR 4.5 million in H1 2020.

 

4) SABB Takaful Co. widened net loss before Zakat to SAR 12 million in H1 2020.

 

5) National Metal Manufacturing and Casting Co. (Maadaniyah) widened net loss after Zakat and tax to SAR 15.2 million for H1 2020.

 

6) Middle East Paper Co. (MEPCO) reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of around SAR 15.6 million for H1 2020.

 

7) Saudi Marketing Co. (Farm Superstores) signed a SAR 100 million Shariah compliant credit facilities agreement with Bank Albilad.

 

8) Wataniya Insurance Co. reported a net profit before Zakat of SAR 6 million for H1 2020.

 

9) Astra Industrial Group reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 58.3 million in H1 2020.

 

10) Brent crude on Thursday declined 33 cents to reach $45.04 per barrel. WTI Crude also decreased 40 cents to reach $42.53/bbl.
